E-Loader

The E-Loader is used to separate pieces of lumber into individual lugged chains feeding into a scanner, trimmer, and sorter. Boards are gathered at the E-Loader’s infeed by a backlog transfer. The feeder lever takes the board and lifts it into the subsequent lugged chain. The E-Loader excels in terms of its high degree of reliability and performance. Utilizing both the precision of servo-motors and the speed of pneumatic cylinders, speeds of over 300 pieces per minute have been achieved during factory testing. Using a laser measuring system, the machine automatically adapts to the board thickness being fed. This function raises or lowers the bottom feeder nose.

The flexibility allows the upper and lower feeder levers to hit the board at the same time. What’s more, the shape of the variable lever creates greater support during lifting. Therefore, large sizes can be allocated with a wider board support. While the product was being developed, our team focused on making it easy to handle and perform maintenance on. Machine covers with gas springs mean that the maintenance lids are easy to open by hand. The lids can also be walked on and therefore used as a crossover option.
